Calorie Calculator
A MET-based estimate for active rope work using your weight, active minutes and pace.
Estimates use reference MET values for the selected rope activity. Actual energy expenditure varies, so use this as a guide, not a measurement.
Calorie estimate FAQ
For a hypothetical 70 kg adult, 15 active minutes gives estimates of about 153 kcal at 8.3 METs, 217 kcal at 11.8 METs and 226 kcal at 12.3 METs. These are reference estimates, not calories measured from your body.
The selected MET category describes time spent doing that rope activity. Rests and setup do not match it, so enter only active jumping minutes. This does not mean resting uses zero energy; it keeps the estimate matched to the chosen activity.
It applies published Compendium of Physical Activities MET values and the standard MET calorie formula. Individual energy expenditure varies with the person and the activity performed, so treat the result as an estimate.
