Privacy Policy

Jump Rope Pro is built on-device first. Your workouts belong to you. We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

What the app collects, and where it goes

  • Workout data (jump counts, duration, combos, streaks, XP, pet progress) is stored on your device. If you grant Health access, workouts and calories are saved to Apple Health — that data stays in Apple's Health system under Apple's rules.
  • Motion data (accelerometer/gyroscope from iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods) is processed in real time to count your jumps. Raw motion streams are not stored and never leave your device.
  • Camera (form analysis and camera counting) is processed entirely on-device with Apple's Vision framework. No video or images are uploaded, stored, or shared.
  • Microphone & speech recognition power voice commands during workouts. Voice control uses Apple's speech APIs; we do not record or store your audio.
  • AI Coach: when you chat with the coach, your messages and relevant workout stats are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply. They are not used to train models and are handled under Anthropic's commercial data terms. Don't include sensitive personal details in chat.
  • Game Center leaderboards are operated by Apple under your Game Center settings and Apple's privacy policy.
  • Web profile sync (optional, off by default): if you opt in, we sync your public profile (handle, display name, emoji, level, XP, lifetime jumps, streaks, pet, recent session summaries) to jumpropequest.com, stored with Cloudflare (D1) in the US. Public profiles are visible to anyone with the link. Turn sync off any time in the app; you can request deletion (below).

Website

jumpropequest.com runs on Cloudflare. Server logs (IP, user agent) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention — including rate-limiting our AI workout search. Search queries you type may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to pick workouts; they are not linked to your identity.

Kids

Kids Mode limits social and purchase surfaces and is designed for family use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases require the device owner's App Store authentication (including Ask to Buy where enabled).

Your choices

  • Revoke Health, Motion, Camera, or Microphone access any time in iOS Settings.
  • Disable web sync in the app; your public page stops updating.
  • Deletion: delete the app to remove on-device data; for synced profile deletion, email williamjiaminus@gmail.com with your handle and we will remove it within 30 days.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
