Your first session
From download to your first bounce.
Simple Jump Rope Pro helps you count with your iPhone camera and learn through short written and video lessons. The public app is version 1.0.2; the broader Watch, AirPods, and adventure update is in development.
1. Make room
Choose a clear space, check overhead clearance, and keep the rope away from people, pets, and furniture. Place your phone securely where it can see your whole body.
Read the space and surface guide →2. Open the camera counter
Allow camera access when prompted. Use even lighting and step into the frame so your feet and head are visible. Start with a short, comfortable set to check the framing.
Counts are estimates and depend on your movement and setup. If the counter misses jumps, adjust the angle, lighting, or distance and try again.
3. Learn one thing at a time
Open the course in the app, or read it here. Each chapter combines a focused explanation, key points, and a practice prompt. Related videos show the technique where available.
Open the handbook →4. Come back for the next chapter
Mark chapters complete in the app to keep your place. Start with rope setup and fundamentals, then move through rhythm and first tricks at your own pace.
